Dillip Sahu’s happiness knew no bounds after he learnt that his daughter had cracked the medical entrance examination National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET). A vegetable vendor in Rengali Village of Jharsuguda district of Odisha, said “He wants to fulfill his daughter dream.”
“I have seen my father’s hard work and struggle to educate me and earn livelihood for the family. His hard work inspired me to give more efforts to fulfill my dream,” said Reemarani Sahu daughter of vegetable seller Dillip sahu speaking to theargusnews.in. She has secured 633 of 720 marks and has secured 7555 All India rank, in NEET conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).
There is no substitute to hard work, commitment and dedication and poverty cannot be a hurdle for success, Reemarani has proved it right. She had secured 86.83 percent in her 10th Matric Examination 2015 and later secured 75.5 percent in her Plus two examination. She had started her preparation for NEET examination while studying Plus Two art Sambalpur. Owing to poor financial condition of her family she could not join any good coaching center but took up preparation for NEET.
“I have always dreamed of becoming a doctor. My father is a vegetable seller and don’t have enough land. He has been trying hard to provide me education. His commitment to fulfill my dream motivated me to work hard crack the exam,” added Reemarani aiming to join in any government institution in Odisha.
Express happiness over her success, Dillip sahu said, “ I have worked very hard to educate her. She had secured good marks in Matric exam and said committed to work hard. I tried my best to educate her.”
“We are extremely happy to learn that, daughter of a door to door vegetable seller has cracked NEET examination. We are hopeful that she will fulfill her dreams and make us and the region proud with her achievement,” said Social Activist Surang Pradhan.
