According to the department, the deceased included 12 males and three females.
While three patients each died in Sudergarh district, two died in Gajapati, Sambalpur and Subarnapur districts and one each succumbed in Balasore, Bhubaneswar in Khurda district, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Koraput and Mayurbhanj districts, according to the department.
The deceased are identified as a 96-year-old male of Balasore district, a 70-year-old male of Bhubaneswar, a 54-year-old male and a 74-year-old male of Gajapati district , a 70-year-old female of Jajpur district, a 54-year-old male of Kendrapara district, a 75-year-old male of Koraput district, a 37-year-old male of Mayurbhanj district, a 50-year-old male and a 70-year-old male of Sambalpur district, a 60-year-old male and a 62-year-old female of Subarnapur district , a 58-year-old male, a 70-year-old male and a 60-year-old female of Sundargarh district.
During the last 24 hours, the Sate too recorded recovery of 1,315 persons from the virus taking the total cured tally to 3,00,474.
