According to the data tweeted by the department, 12 infections were detected from among the quarantined people, while the rest eight found as local contacts. The infections were reported from five districts and the State pool.
While Khordha reported 11 cases, Baleswar and Sundargarh reported two each and Kalahandi and Keonjhar one case each. Besides, three positive cases were detected from the State pool.
The data also showed that 11 Covid patients recovered in the State in the last 24 hours and, thus, the total recoveries came to 12,79,281. After recoveries and deaths (9,126 due to Covid and 53 for other reasons), the State’s active cases stood at 136.
