New Delhi, Mar 7: The second part of the Budget Session of Parliament will commence on Monday, It will conclude on April 8, officials said.
The Rajya Sabha will sit from 9 AM to 2 PM while Lok Sabha will function between 4 PM to 9 PM in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to sources, the Modi Government, in this session, will focus on passing various demands for grants for the year 2021-22 and the Finance Bill which carries various tax proposals.
Senior leaders of various parties, especially the regional parties, are likely to skip most of the House sittings as they would be focusing on Assembly polls.
The elections in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Kerala and Puducherry will be held in March and April.
Notably, the first part of the Budget Session had started on January 29 .The Rajya Sabha was adjourned on February 12 and the Lok Sabha next day for recess.
