“We are all committed to provide equal opportunities to women and men in the society and increase the participation of women in building a self-reliant India,” he added.
The Minister also highlighted some welfare schemes of Modi Government promoting woman empowerment.
“Schemes like Ujjwala, Ayushman, Mudra, Swachh Bharat are ensuring the dignity of the poorest of the poor women, while ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’, skill development, permanent commission etc are helping the ‘Nari Shakti’ to touch the sky in the field of armed forces, industries, sports, technology and others areas ,” said the Minister.
The role of woman power is crucial in building a new and self-reliant India of the 21st century. Modi Government is inspired by this approach and has been working for the empowerment and dignity of women, he added.
