In a series of tweets, Pradhan said, “Congratulations to all the personalities who have been conferred with the Padma Awards 2023. The entire nation cherishes and values their accomplishments.”
The Union Minister also expressed delight that 4 personalities from Odisha- Maguni Charan Kuanr (Art), Antaryami Mishra (Literature & Education), Krishna Patel (Art), and Patayat Sahu (Agriculture)- have been conferred with the prestigious Padma Shri awards.

The Government of India on Wednesday announced the list of Padma awardees 2023.
President Droupadi Murmu approved conferment of 106 Padma Awards including three duo cases for 2023. The list comprises six Padma Vibhushan, nine Padma Bhushan and 91 Padma Shri awardees.
Padma Awards - one of the highest civilian awards of the country - are conferred in three categories, namely, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri, for excellence in various disciplines and fields of activities such as art, social work, public affairs, science and engineering, trade and industry, medicine, literature and education, sports, civil service, etc.
