Notably, Benerjee is contesting from Nandigram Assembly seat where the BJP has fielded Suvendu Adhikari, a very popular leader, against her in the ensuing election.
“Perturbed by the mood of people in Nandigram and sensing a huge defeat, Mamata Didi is trying every trick in the book to stop the BJP. Orchestrating attacks on Subhandu Adhikari and and stopping him from conducting rallies reflects how TMC has lost ground in its bastion,” tweeted Pradhan.
He said lawlessness by TMC everyday that too with the collusion of police and the state machinery is beyond words.
“Time and again goons like Sheikh Sufian are stoking violence, polarising people and ransacking BJP’s offices in Nandigram while the police remains a mute spectator,” rued the Union Minister.
He urged the Election Commissioner to take cognisance of how the state machinery which are acting as TMC workers and how Mamata Didi has made lawlessness a cottage industry in Bengal.
“Such desperate attempts by Didi will not let TMC escape it's fate. Bengal will not forget, Bengal will not forgive,” contended Pradhan.
