According to the data furnished by the department in its Twitter account, the highest 233 patients recovered in Nuapada district, followed by 149 in Khordha, 131 in Sundargarh, 73 in Angul, 64 in Keonjhar, 54 each in Bargarh and Ganjam, 52 in Mayurbhanj, 50 in Cuttack, 47 in Sambalpur, 45 in Puri, 44 each in Bolangir and Rayagada, 43 in Kalahandi, 32 in Jharsuguda, 27 in Nabarangpur, 26 in Jajapur, 22 in Baleswar, 17 in Bhadrak, 14 in Gajapati, 10 in Nayagarh, nine each in Kandhamal and Kendrapara, seven in Jagatsinghpur, six in Deogarh, four each in Koraput and Sonepur and one patient recovered in Malkangiri district.
Besides, 32 recoveries were reported from the State Pool.
Notably, the State witnessed deaths of four persons due to Covid 19 infection during the last 24 hours and, thus, the number of Covid deaths rose to 1,942.
However, the State’s Covid positive tally rose to 3,64,594 after 3,144 new positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Out of 3,144 new cases, 1,823 were detected from among quarantined persons and 1,321 detected as local contacts.
