According to the data furnished by the department in its Twitter account, the highest 224 patients recovered in Sundargarh district, followed by 191 in Khordha, 108 in Kalahandi, 82 in Sambalpur, 80 in Bargarh, 74 in Nuapada,62 in Cuttack, 50 in Jharsuguda, 49 in Ganjam, 48 in Keonjhar, 41 in Anugul, 28 in Puri, 26 in Mayurbhanj, 25 each in Jajapur and Rayagada, 24 in Bhadrak, 20 in Gajapati, 19 in Nabarangpur, 18 in Deogarh, 15 in Nayagarh, 13 in Bolangir, 10 in Baleswar, seven in Koraput, six in Kendrapara, five each in Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal and Sonepur and two each in Dhenkanal and Malkangiri.
Besides, 45 recoveries were reported from the State Pool.
Notably, the State witnessed deaths of two persons due to Covid 19 infection during the last 24 hours and, thus, the number of Covid deaths rose to 1,944.
However, the State’s Covid positive tally rose to 3,68,258 after 3,664 new positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Out of 3,664 new cases, 2,127 were detected from among quarantined persons and 1,537 detected as local contacts.
