Bhubaneswar, Aug 4: As many as 1,630 Covid patients recovered while being treated at different hospitals in Odisha on Wednesday, informed the State Health and Family Welfare Department.
Out of 1,630 fresh recoveries in the State, the highest numbers of 329 recoveries were reported from Khordha district, followed by 176 from Cuttack, 148 from Kendrapara, 129 from Baleswar, 90 from Puri, 87 from Jagatsinghpur, 77 from Jajapur, 73 from Koraput, 69 from Bhadrak, 63 from Sundargarh, 55 from Dhenkanal, 46 from Mayurbhanj, 38 from Anugul, 31 from Nayagarh, 27 from Kandhamal, 21 from Rayagada, 18 from Keonjhar, 12 from Sambalpur, 10 each from Bargarh and Nabarangpur, nine from Ganjam, eight from Deogarh and Sonepur, six from Gajapati, five from Kalahandi, four from Malkangiri, three each from Jharsuguda and Nuapada and two recovered each from Bolangir and Boudh district.
Besides, 71 recoveries were reported from the State Pool.
“The total recovered cases of Odisha now stand at 9,63,718,” said the Health Department.
