Bhubaneswar, Feb 13: As many as 100 Covid patients recovered in Odisha on Saturday, taking the number of persons cured of the virus in the State to 3,33,451, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.
According to the data furnished by the department in its Twitter account, the highest 26 patients recovered in Sundargarh district, followed by nine each in Angul and Khordha, eight in Puri, six each in Cuttack, Jajpur and Sambalpur, Five in Bolangir, four in Mayurbhanj, three each in Deogarh, Gajapati and Jharsuguda, two each in Bargarh, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar and Rayagada and one patient recovered in Nuapada district.
Besides, three recoveries were reported from the State Pool
Notably, the State didn’t any death due to Covid infection during the last 24 hours and, thus, the number of Covid deaths stood at 1,910 as before.
Similarly, the State’s Covid positive tally rose to 3,36,101 after 59 new positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Out of 59 new cases, 34 were detected from among quarantined persons and 25 detected as local contacts.
