Bhubaneswar, Feb 14: As many as 103 Covid patients recovered in Odisha on Sunday, taking the number of persons cured of the virus in the State to 3,33,554, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.
According to the data furnished by the department in its Twitter account, the highest 16 patients each recovered in Cuttack and Sundargarh district, followed by 12 in Bargarh, 11 in Jharsuguda, 10 in Angul, six in Sambalpur, five in Khordha and Mayurbhanj, three each in Jajapur, Puri and Rayagada, two each in Baleswar, Bolangir, Kalahandi and Keonjhar and one each recovered in Deogarh, Ganjam and Kendrapara district.
Besides, two recoveries were reported from the State Pool
Notably, the State didn’t any death due to Covid infection during the last 24 hours and, thus, the number of Covid deaths stood at 1,910 as before.
Similarly, the State’s Covid positive tally rose to 3,36,174 after 73 new positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Out of 73 new cases, 44 were detected from among quarantined persons and 29 detected as local contacts.
