Bhubaneswar, Feb 9: As many as 108 Covid patients recovered in Odisha on Tuesday, taking the number of persons cured of the virus in the State to 3,33,139, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.
According to the data furnished by the department in its Twitter account, the highest 21 patients recovered Sundargarh district, followed by 12 in Khordha, 11 in Bargarh, 10 in Sambalpur, eight in Puri, seven each in Baleswar and Cuttack, five in Jajapur, four each in Anugul and Rayagada, three each in Deogarh and Jharsuguda, two each in Gajapati, Mayurbhanj and Nuapada and one each recovered in Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Koraput, Nayagarh and Sonepur district.
Besides, two recoveries were reported from the State Pool
Notably, the State didn’t any death due to Covid infection during the last 24 hours and, thus, the number of Covid deaths stood at 1,910.
Similarly, the State’s Covid positive tally rose to 3,35,797 after 105 new positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Out of 105 new cases, 63 were detected from among quarantined persons and 42 detected as local contacts.
