According to the IMD bulletin, Sambalpur recorded the highest of 41.5 degree Celsius, followed by Sundargarh 41, Titilagarh 41, Sonepur 41, Boudh 40.8, Anugul 40.7, Bhawanipatna 40.2, Bolangir 40.2, Hirakud 40.1, Malkanagiri 40 and Nayagarh 40.
It may be noted that heat wave conditions have been prevailing in many parts of Odisha for over a week now.
