People will not be allowed to move during the night curfew. However, people engaged in essential services can move to work place or return home showing identity cards or other proofs issued to them by their respective organisations.
Besides, permission of movement will be given to home delivery boys and those going to railway stations and airport during the curfew period.
While journalists will have to show identity cards, vehicles transporting dead bodies and essential commodieties will be allowed to move.
Shopkeepers and vendors have been asked to lock their shops and move back home from 8 pm. Police patrolling vehicles will move and there will be check posts at 25 places in the city. Police personnel will be on duty throughout the night. Stringent action will be taken against violators as per the Epidemic Act, said DCP Umashankar Mishra.
