The State had reported 128 Covid cases yesterday and 138 the day before.
According to the data twitted by the department, the State’s Covid positive tally mounted to 12,85,760.
The fresh cases included 37 children in the age group of 0-18 years. While 84 cases were reported from among the quarantined people, the rest 61 detected as local contacts.
Among the districts, Khurda reported highest 25 cases followed by Sambalpur 17, Gajapati 16, Sundargarh 16 and Balasore 12. While eight districts didn’t report any case the rest 17 districts reported cases in single digit numbers.
During the period, 263 patients recovered, taking the State’s recoveries to 12,75,019. After recoveries and deaths, the State’s active cases came down to 1,590.
