According to the data furnished by the department in its Twitter account, the highest 274 patients recovered in Nuapada district, followed by 266 in Sundargarh, 206 in Khordha, 152 in Keonjhar, 121 in Sambalpur, 113 in Kalahandi, 108 in Bargarh, 107 in Puri, 88 in Bolangir, 80 in Baleswar, 64 in Jharsuguda, 57 in Cuttack, 52 in Nabarangpur, 42 in Ganjam, 33 in Jajpur, 31 in Deogarh, 28 in Rayagada, 26 in Mayurbhanj, 20 in Anugul, 19 in Gajapati, 15 in Kandhamal, 14 in Sonepur, 13 in Jagatsinghpur, 11 in Bhadrak, nine in Koraput, eight in Nayagarh, three in Dhenkanal, two in Kendrapara and one patient recovered in Malkangiri.
Besides, 46 recoveries were reported from the State Pool.
Notably, the State witnessed deaths of five persons due to Covid 19 infection during the last 24 hours and, thus, the number of Covid deaths rose to 1,958.
However, the State’s Covid positive tally rose to 3,82,315 after 4,851 new positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Out of 4,851 new cases, 2,814 were detected from among quarantined persons and 2,037 detected as local contacts.
