According to the data furnished by the department in its Twitter account, the highest 410 patients recovered in Nuapada district, followed by 241 in Sundargarh, 198 in Khordha, 114 in Sambalpur, 98 in Keonjhar, 96 in Nabarangpur, 90 in Bolangir, 79 in Bargarh, 78 in Baleswar, 70 each in Jharsuguda and Puri, 65 in Kalahandi, 60 in Mayurbhanj, 59 in Cuttack, 51 in Deogarh, 50 in Jajapur, 49 in Ganjam, 48 in Anugul, 30 in Bhadrak, 28 in Gajapati, 24 in Rayagada, 21 in Jagatsinghpur, 19 in Sonepur, 18 in Kendrapara, 15 in Nayagarh, 10 eacj om Boudh and Koraput, eight in Kandhamal, five in Dhenkanal and Malkangiri.
Besides, 46 recoveries were reported from the State Pool.
Notably, the State witnessed deaths of seven persons due to Covid 19 infection during the last 24 hours and, thus, the number of Covid deaths rose to 1,965.
However, the State’s Covid positive tally rose 3,88,479 after 6,164 new positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Out of 6,164 new cases, 3,575 were detected from among quarantined persons and 2,589 detected as local contacts.
