The deceased persons were yet to be identified.
According to information, the two were taking bath at Saidjhali ghat after celebrating Holi at around 12 pm when they slipped into the deep water. On being informed, fire services personnel rushed to the spot and fished out the bodies.
While the exact reason is yet to be known, it is suspected that they might have drunk before taking bath.
The Kuchinda police have reached the spot and started investigation.
