ଭଗବାନଙ୍କ ଆଲୌକିକ ଦର୍ଶନ
Bhadrak, Feb 14: At least two houses and a shop were gutted in a massive fire which broke out in Baligaon Gajagiri area under Chandbali NAC in Bhadrak district last night.
Sparks erupted at one Radha Mohan Sahu’s house in the village late in the night while his family members were asleep. Till they woke up and launched firefighting efforts the blaze had engulfed at least two houses and a shop located nearby.
Later, the Fire Brigade officials were called up for assistance in dousing the flames but till they reached the spot, properties worth lakhs had been completely reduced to ashes, says report.
Furniture, electronics items, important documents and consumer goods of the shop worth lakhs had been lost to the mishap, informed the victims.
While the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, an electric short circuit is being seen as the most probable reason for the same.
