୧୮ ଘଂଟାରେ ୨୫ କିଲୋମିଟର ରାଜପଥ ନିର୍ମାଣ
Dhenkanal, Feb 15: Two minor sisters were crushed to death while another was injured after a speeding pickup van ran them over at Bazichowk here in Odisha on Monday.
The deceased have been identified as Saina Sabar and Suhana Sabar.
The incident took place this afternoon when the driver of the van lost control of the vehicle and crushed the siblings who were sleeping at the roadside pavement at Bazichowk in the town.
After the accident, the driver of the van managed to flee from the spot, locals said.
Saina and Suhana reportedly died on the spot, they added.
The injured kid, identified as Pami Sabar, was rushed to a nearby hospital. Her condition was stated to be critical, when the last reports came in.
On being informed, Town police reached the spot and started a probe in the matter.
