Bhubaneswar, Apr 5: As many as 215 Covid 19 patients recovered in Odisha on Monday, taking the number of persons cured of the virus in the State to 3,38,150, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.
According to the data furnished by the department in its Twitter account, the highest 46 patients recovered in Khordha district, followed by 20 each in Cuttack and Nuapada, 12 each in Kalahandi and Sundargarh, 11 in Sambalpur, 10 each in Jharsuguda and Mayurbhanj, nine in Bolangir, eight in Bargarh, six each in Baleswar and Ganjam, five each in Jajapur, Keonjhar and Puri, four each in Boudh and Jagatsinghpur, three in Angul, two each in Dhenkanal, Kendrapara and Koraput and one in Rayagada.
Besides, 12 recoveries were reported from the State Pool.
Notably, the State did not witness any death due to Covid 19 infection during the last 24 hours and, thus, the number of Covid stood at 1,922 as before.
However, the State’s Covid positive tally rose to 3,43 268 after 573 new positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Out of 573 new cases, 337 were detected from among quarantined persons and 236 detected as local contacts.
