3 minor bods take watery grave in Rourkela

Rourkela, Feb 10: In a heartrending incident, three minor boys drowned while taking bath in the Koel river at Baikuntha Ghat in Jhiripani area of Sundargarh district on Wednesday afternoon.

Some locals first saw the bodies floating in the river. Their slippers were found lying on the river bank. On being informed, police and fire personnel rushed to the spot and fished out the bodies. The deceased were yet to be identified.

All the bodies have been sent to Ispat General Hospital. After identification, bodies will be sent for post-mortem, an official said.
