According to information, the KIMET School has remained closed now as a case against the institution is subjudice at a court. As the school is locked, usually staffs don’t visit it.
But this morning, locals saw three youths taking out valuable materials from the school and keeping them in a pickup van this morning. They soon sounded alarm and overpowered the stealers. They later handed over the looters to the police.
After interrogating the miscreants, police visited a scrapper’s shop to inspect if school materials were there.
It is alleged that led machines, computers and 14 electric machines worth over Rs 15 lakh have been stolen from the school.
