Bhubaneswar, Dec 23: As many as 304 Covid patients recovered in Odisha on Wednesday, taking the number of persons cured of the virus in the State to 3,22,648, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.
According to the data furnished by the department in its Twitter account, the highest number of 51Covid patients recovered in Angul district, followed by 36 in Khordha, 30 in Sundargarh, 27 in Cuttack, 21 each in Mayurbhanj and Puri, 15 in Bargarh, 14 in Nuapada, 11 each in Balasore and Jagatsinghpur, 10 in Sambalpur, eight in Ganjam, seven each in Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, Kendrapara, five each in Bhadrak and Gajapati, three each in Keonjhar and Koraput, two in Nawarangpur and one each in Deogarh, Jajpur and Nayagarh district.
Besides, seven recoveries were reported from the State pool.
Notably, the State recorded three deaths during the last 24 hours and, thus, the number of Covid deaths stood at 1,846 on Wednesday.
Similarly, the State’s Covid positive tally rose to 3,27,279 after 364 new positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Out of 364 new cases, 210 were detected from among quarantined persons and the rest 154 detected as local contacts.
