According to the data furnished by the department in its Twitter account, the highest number of 71Covid patients recovered in Sundargarh district, followed by 38 in Khordha, 37 in Angul, 27 in Sambalpur, 26 in Bargarh, 25 in Mayurbhanj, 21 in Cuttack, 20 in Balasore, 16 Jajpur, 15 Nuapada, 13 in Puri, 11 Bolangir, 10 in Keonjhar, eight in Jagatsinghpur, seven in Ganjam, six each in Jharsuguda, Kalahandi and Kendrapada, three each Bhadrak, Koraput and Nawarangpur, two each in Boudh, Denknal and Nayagarh and one each recovered in Deogarh and Malkangiri.
Besides, eight recoveries were reported from the State pool.
Notably, the State recorded four deaths during the last 24 hours and, thus, the number of Covid deaths stood at 1,843 on Tuesday.
Similarly, the State’s Covid positive tally rose to 3,26,915 after 319 new positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Out of 319 new cases, 184 were detected from among quarantined persons and the rest 135 detected as local contacts.
