588 more test positive for Covid-19 in Odisha, tally rises to 343856

Bhubaneswar, April 6: 588 more Covid-19 positive cases were detected in the State in the last 24 hours thereby taking the total infection count in Odisha to 343856 on Tuesday.

Of these fresh cases, 342 cases were detected from among quarantined people and the rest 246 found as local contacts.

According to the data furnished on its Twitter account of the Information and Public Relations Department, the new cases were detected from 27 districts of the State.

Among the districts, with 105 cases Khurda remained at the top of the positive list today followed by Sundergarh (84), Kalahandi (64), Jharsuguda (31) and Cuttack (30).

At least 23 cases have been reported from the State Pool today.

Besides 215 Corona patients were also recovered in the State today.
