Bhubaneswar, Mar 8: 59 more Covid-19 positive cases were detected in the State in the last 24 hours thereby taking the total infection count in Odisha to 337803 on Monday.
Of these fresh cases, 35 cases were detected from among quarantined people and the rest 24 found as local contacts.
According to the data furnished on its Twitter account of the Information and Public Relations Department, the new cases were detected from 19 districts of the State.
Among the districts today, with 9 cases Khurda remained at the top on the list followed by Sundergarh (6), Angul, Balasore and Jharsuguda 4 cases each, Keonjhar, Khurda, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh and Nayagarh 3 cases each.
No case has been reported from the State Pool today.
Besides 90 Corona patients were also recovered in the State today.
