Bhubaneswar, Feb 26: As many as 63 Covid patients recovered in Odisha on Friday, taking the number of persons cured of the virus in the State to 3,34,463, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.
According to the data furnished by the department in its Twitter account, the highest 11 patients recovered in Sundargarh district, followed by 10 in Jharsuguda, nine each in Bargarh and Sambalpur, five in Khordha, four each in Baleswar, Jajapur and Koraput, three in Nuapada, two in Puri and one each recovered in Mayurbhanj and Rayagada district.
Notably, the State didn’t witness any death due to Covid 19 infection during the last 24 hours and, thus, the number of Covid deaths stood at 1,915 as before.
However, the State’s Covid positive tally rose to 3,37,018 after 94 new positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Out of 94 new cases, 56 were detected from among quarantined persons and 38 detected as local contacts.
