With this, the total positive cases of the State rose to 10,10,753, according to the Information and Public Relations Department.
The fresh cases included 118 children in the age group of 0-18 years.
The State had reported 849 positive cases yesterday and 754 cases the preceding day.
Of fresh cases, 398 were detected from among quarantined people and the rest 283 as local contacts.
Among districts, Khordha reported highest number of 222, followed by Cuttack 101, Balasore 34, Jajpur 33, Mayurbhanj 27, Puri 26, Sundargarh 20, Dhenkanal 19, Jagatsinghpur 19, Angul 18, Bargarh 14, Ganjam 13, Keonjhar, Nayagarh and Sambalpur 10 each, Bhadrak, Deogarh and Kendrapada nine each, Sonepur six, Jharsuguda and Rayagada five each, Kalahandi four, Boudh, Koraput and Malkangiri three each and Nawarangpur reported one case.
Besides, 48 positive cases were reported from the State Pool.
During the period, 835 infected persons recovered and total recoveries thus came to 9,95,474 against total positive cases of 10,10,753. Active cases stood at 7,186.
A total of 1,83,39,452 tests have been done to detect Covid positive cases so far.
