Bhubaneswar, Apr 22: Seven more persons succumbed to Covid-19 in Odisha in the last 24 hours while undergoing treatment in different hospitals, informed the State Health & Family Welfare Department on Thursday.
The fresh fatalities include two each from Rayagada and Ganjam districts and one each from Kalahandi, Kandhamal and State Capital, it added.
Regret to inform the demise of seven numbers of Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospitals.
1.A 79 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetic Mellitus, Hypertension.

5.A 72 years old male of Kandhamal district who was also suffering from Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Chronic Kidney Disease.
6.A 40 years old male of Rayagada district.

With this, the total death toll due to Covid-19 in Odisha now stands at 1965.
Odisha today reported as many as 6,164 fresh Covid-19 cass, taking the COVID-19 tally of the State to 3,88,479.
Khordha district recorded the maximum number of fresh cases at 1,132, followed by Nuapada at 459, Kalahandi at 452 and Sundargarh at 427.
