Bhubaneswar, Mar 1: As many as 76 Covid patients recovered in Odisha on Monday, taking the number of persons cured of the virus in the State to 3,34,647, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.
According to the data furnished by the department in its Twitter account, the highest 14 patients recovered in Sundargarh district, followed by 11 in Jajpur, seven in Khordha, six in Bhadrak, five each in Mayurnhanj and Nuapada, four each in Cuttack, Deogarh and Jharsuguda, three in Baleswar, two each in Anugul, Bargarh and Sambalpur and one each recovered in Bolangir, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Puri and Sonepur district.
Besides, one recovery was reported from the State Pool.
Notably, the State didn’t witness any death due to Covid 19 infection during the last 24 hours and, thus, the number of Covid deaths stood at 1,916 as before.
However, the State’s Covid positive tally rose to 3,37,277 after 86 new positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Out of 86 new cases, 50 were detected from among quarantined persons and 36 detected as local contacts.
