Bhubaneswar, Feb 23: As many as 77 Covid patients recovered in Odisha on Tuesday, taking the number of persons cured of the virus in the State to 3,34,243, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.
According to the data furnished by the department in its Twitter account, the highest 14 patients recovered in Bargarh district, followed by nine in Khordha, seven in Mayurbhanj, six each in Nuapada and Sambalpur, five each in Baleswar, Bolangir, Jajapur and Sundargarh, three each in Jharsuguda and Puri and two each in Dhenkanal and Sonepur and one each recovered in Anugul, Cuttack, Kalahandi and Nayagarh.
Besides, one recovery was reported from the State Pool.
The State didn’t witness any death due to Covid 19 infection during the last 24 hours and, thus, the number of Covid deaths stood at 1,914 as before.
However, the State’s Covid positive tally rose to 3,36,767 after 62 new positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Out of 62 new cases, 37 were detected from among quarantined persons and 25 detected as local contacts.
