Bhubaneswar, Feb 15: As many as 83 Covid patients recovered in Odisha on Monday, taking the number of persons cured of the virus in the State to 3,33,637, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.
According to the data furnished by the department in its Twitter account, the highest 15 patients recovered in Sundargarh district, followed by 11 in Puri, nine in Sambalpur, six each in Bargarh, Cuttack and Jajapur, five in Khordha, four each in Bolangir and Mayurbhanj, three in Baleswar, two each in Angul, Deogarh, Jharsuguda, Nuapada and Rayagada and one each recovered in Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur and Kalahandi district.
Besides, one recovery was reported from the State Pool
Notably, the State witnessed death of a Covid 19-infected person during the last 24 hours and, thus, the number of Covid deaths increased to 1,911.
Similarly, the State’s Covid positive tally rose to 3,36,262 after 88 new positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Out of 88 new cases, 51 were detected from among quarantined persons and 37 detected as local contacts.
