Bhubaneswar, Mar 27: As many as 89 Covid 19 patients recovered in Odisha on Saturday, taking the number of persons cured of the virus in the State to 3,36,571, informed the Health and Family Welfare Department.
According to the data furnished by the department in its Twitter account, the highest 25 patients recovered in Cuttack district, followed by nine each in Bargarh, Mayurbhanj and Sundargarh, five each in Jajpur, Jharsuguda and Khordha, four each in Angul and Sambalpur, three each in Ganjam, Kalahandi and Puri, two in Deogarh and one recovered in Baleswar and Nuapada district.
Besides, one recovery was reported from the State Pool.
Notably, the State witnessed death of a person in Sundargarh district due to Covid 19 infection during the last 24 hours and, thus, the number of Covid rose to 1,920.
However, the State’s Covid positive tally rose to 3,39,904 after 210 new positive cases were detected in the last 24 hours. Out of 210 new cases, 124 were detected from among quarantined persons and 86 detected as local contacts.
