Bhubaneswar, August 25: Odisha has recorded two per cent rainfall less than normal by August 24, informed the Regional Meteorological Centre today.
“The State has received an average of 833.9 millimetre rains by Monday. Malkangiri recorded the highest of 1439.8 mm rainfall which is 53% more than normal rainfall. Four districts, Khordha, Puri, Balasore and Gajapati have received lesser than normal rainfall. Khurda has recorded 27% less rainfall than normal, so far,” said the Regional Meteorological Centre.
