The DCP also informed that a technical team would also support the special team in investigation. It was revealed from the primary investigation that the murder was not at all committed for theft, said he.
“Police are conducting investigations from different angles. It will be easy to uncover the mystery behind the killing after receipt of the post-mortem report,” said Mishra.
It may be noted that a woman, named B Gunabati, was found dead with her throat slit in her house at Kurthakhai Gali in Odia Bazaar yesterday. While her neck was found cut with a Paniki(vegetable cutter), gold necklace and other gold ornaments were still in her body.
