The number of active cases crossed shot past the 200-mark with the detection of new infections.
Out of 38 fresh cases in the State, two cases have been detected from the 0-18 year age group. While 23 cases have been reported from quarantined people, 15 are local contact cases.
Khordha district reported the maximum number of fresh cases at 27, followed by Puri at three, Cuttack at two, and Puri. Besides, six fresh Covid-19 cases were reported from the State pool.
With today's count, the Covid-19 tally of the State has increased to 12,88,800. So far, a total of 12,79,419 people in the State have been recovered from Covid-19.
The State has now 202 active cases.
