According to the information, the actor’s son was suffering from liver-related disease and was undergoing treatment at All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar for over a month. However, he breathed his last late on Tuesday night.
His last rites were performed at Satichaura cremation ground in Cuttack. Aklant’s brother and actor Amlan Das lit the funeral pyre.
On January 11, 2022 Mihir Das (63) passed away while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Cuttack.
