“Many of our Covid Warriors have gone on isolation either because of testing positive or because of coming in direct contacts with positive cases. Thus, we have decided to close the walk-in OPD from April 25 temporarily,” said a release issued by the AIIMS.
However, the services like Day care services, Radiotherapy, Dialysis, Trauma and emergency, Emergency and life-saving surgery, Telemedicine and teleconsultation services, IPD services, Pulmonary (vaccination RMRC), Anaesthesiology (PAC and Pain Clinic) and Immunization for old registered patients (Wednesday & Friday) and Yellow Fever (Thursday) will continue.
The patients who have registered online before April 25will be allowed to be attended by their respective departments. Such patients need to show their online booking number at the entry gate. They shall be entitled to enter the hospital premises with only one attendant, said the realise.
Even as OPD remains closed, the “AIIMS Bhubaneswar Swasthya” App and telemedicine services will continue. The app can be downloaded from Play Store while telemedicine details will be available from the official website of AIIMS Bhubaneswar (www.aiimsbhubaneswa.nic.in). Patients’ overall routine checkups will continue through these services.
Telemedicine Services will be available from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm from Monday to Friday, and 09:00 am to 01:00 pm on Saturday (All Working Days).
The “AIIMS Bhubaneswar Swasthya” App will be working from 08:30 am to 05:00 pm from Monday to Friday, and from 08:30 am to 01:00 pm on Saturday (All Working Days).
