Bhubaneswar, Feb 11: BJP MP from Bhubaneswar Aparajita Sarangi on Wednesday took opponent’s sarcastic comment (mentioned on posters pasted in Bhubaneswar) over her absence in the city in a very positive way, expressing happiness that Bhubaneswar is missing her while she is away in Delhi to participate in proceedings of the Parliament.
She asserted that she will be among people of her constituency very soon.
“I am amused that these posters have come up in Bhubaneswar at a time when the Budget Session of Parliament is on; it is my duty to be in the Lok Sabha now,” tweeted Sarangi.
She added, “I am glad Bhubaneswar is 'missing' me. It is a great feeling, indeed! As always, I will be among my people from 15th Feb onwards.”
Notably, a poster found pasted at some places in the city with a question that why Aparajita has not uttered a single word against proposed bye-laws for Ekamra Kshetra, which have not been withdrawn yet. It wanted to know where the MP was hiding.
