Balasore, Feb 13: With the death of another injured labourer, the death toll of Odia workers in the Coimbatore spinning mill fire mishap in Tamil Nadu yesterday rose to two on Saturday.
Janmenjay Gangai, a resident of Bishnupur village under Jaleswar block succumbed under treatment today morning, says report.
Worth mentioning, a major fire broke out at a spinning mill located in Coimbatore last afternoon, where as many as four labourers from Odisha’s Balasore district were working for past couple of months.
All four were rushed to a local hospital in Koimbatore with critical born injuries soon after the incident but one of them namely, Balaram Mangaraj of Nayapali village succumbed under treatment at few minutes later.
After the death of the second one, the rest two labouriers are currently under treatment.
