Another minor girl molested in capital city

Bhubaneswar, Apr 6: Another shameful act has come to the fore in the capital city were a nine-year-old girl was molested by a youth of Old Town area yesterday. The youth, identified as Pravakar Muduli of Kapileshwar Kumbhar Sahi has been arrested.

According to information, a couple along with their daughter had visited the Old Town daily haat yesterday. During purchase, the girl had parted ways. Taking advantage of it, Pravakar allegedly touched her inappropriately.

On the complaint lodged by parents, the Lingaraj police arrested the accused. He has been booked under Sections 341, 509, 354, 354 (B) and 354 (D) and Sections 8 and 12 of the POCSO Act.
