Bhubaneswar, Feb 14: Senior Congress MLA Suresh Kumar Routray on Sunday severely criticized the Odisha Government over Panchayat elections held by the Andhra Pradesh Government in the Kotia area in Odisha’s Koraput district yesterday.
“Andhra Pradesh Government held elections in Odisha due to inefficiencies of our Government. What our district Collectors and SPs were doing,” wanted to know Routray.
He said the Congress would raise border issues in the upcoming Assembly session in a big way.
He criticized saying that as many as 70 MLAs are camping in Sundargarh ahead of CM’s visit. “Panchayat elections are ahead. Huge amounts of money are being spent to buy votes. No development has happened during this Government. Development works had been done during the Congress Government only,” he said.
