The State Capital recorded 145 Covid-19 positive cases yesterday.
Out of the 173 fresh cases in the State Capital, 30 cases were detected among quarantined people and 143 cases were reported from local contacts, said BMC.
With this, the Covid-19 tally of the BMC area has increased to 1,12,644.
The civic body also said that as many as 189 people of the city have been recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours.
To date, a total of 1,07,982 Covid-19 patients of the BMC area have been cured while 1,018 people succumbed to the virus.
The active cases of the city currently stand at 3,623, said the BMC.
