The State Capital recorded 234 Covid-19 positive cases yesterday.
Out of the 243 fresh cases in the State Capital, 47 cases were detected among quarantined people and the rest 196 cases were reported from local contacts.
With this, the Covid-19 tally of the BMC area has increased to 1,07,580.
The civic body also said that as many as 256 people of the city have been recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours.
To date, a total of 1,03,489 Covid-19 patients of the BMC area have been cured while 1,002 people succumbed to the virus.
The active cases of the city currently stand at 3,068, said the BMC.
