The State Capital recorded 243 Covid-19 positive cases yesterday.
Out of the 190 fresh cases in the State Capital, 45 cases were detected among quarantined people and the rest 145 cases were reported from local contacts.
With this, the Covid-19 tally of the BMC area has increased to 1,07,770.
The civic body also said that as many as 243 people of the city have been recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours.
To date, a total of 1,03,732 Covid-19 patients of the BMC area have been cured while 1,003 people succumbed to the virus.
The active cases of the city currently stand at 3,014, said the BMC.
