Bhubaneswar reports 29 new Covid-19 cases, 15 recoveries

Bhubaneswar, Mar 31: As many as 29 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) area of Odisha in the last 24 hours, informed the BMC on Wednesday.

Out of the fresh 29 Covid-19 cases in the State Capital, two cases have been detected from quarantined people, while 27 people have been infected with the deadly virus from local contacts.

The BMC also said that as many as 15 Covid patients of the city have been recovered in the past 24 hours.

With this, the Covid-19 tally of the BMC area has increased to 32,450, out of which 250 people succumbed to the virus and 31,908 people have recovered from Covid-19, so far.

The active cases of the city currently stand at 271, said the BMC.
