The State Capital recorded 325 Covid-19 cases yesterday and 280 cases the previous day.
According to data shared by the BMC, all the 353 fresh cases were reported from local contacts.
With this, the Covid-19 tally of the BMC area has increased to 1,60,166.
The civic body also said that as many as 226 people of the city have been recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours.
To date, a total of 1,57,845 Covid-19 patients of the BMC area have been cured while 1,193 people succumbed to the virus.
The active cases of the city stands at 1,107, said the BMC.
