Bhubaneswar, Apr 2: As many as 45 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) area of Odisha in the last 24 hours, informed the BMC on Friday.
Out of the fresh 45 Covid-19 cases in the State Capital, 14 cases have been detected from among quarantined people, while 31 people found as local contacts.
The BMC also said that as many as 12 Covid patients of the city have been recovered in the past 24 hours.
With this, the Covid-19 tally of the BMC area has increased to 32,547, out of which 250 people succumbed to the virus and 31,933 people have recovered from Covid-19, so far.
The active cases of the city currently stand at 343, said the BMC.
